Dinner sets – all handmade at PJ Pottery
There is something truly special about eating from handmade ceramics. I know I’m biased! My home is full of my own plates, mugs and bowls. I enjoy using them on a daily basis. Imagine, you can have a handmade bespoke dinner set – I create it just for you.
Choose your dinner set
These dinner sets take 6-8 weeks to design, create, glaze and fire. Interested? Here are the steps to make it reality:
- choose which piece setting you want – 4, 8, 16, 18, 24 or a 36 piece
- decide what shapes, forms and surface decoration you like for your set and we will send through design options
- decide if you would like additional ware like large noodle bowls, serving platters, small dip bowls or others
- choose the glaze colours from our colour palette
- you are welcome to visit the studio on Tamborine Mountain to discuss in person and view existing stock in the gallery
- we will confirm your order and you will pay a 40% deposit
All of our ceramic dinner sets are handmade functional ware. They are food safe, microwave, oven and dishwasher safe (except our lustre ware). Please note that ceramics need to be room temperature before placing in the oven or the fridge or the thermal shock can cause cracking.
The botanical sets are made from porcelain and hand painted with underglaze colours. They are hand pressed with flora from my garden. The set consists of a plate, bowl, side plate and beaker. The beaker has a gold lustre line highlight.
